Road | Tamarin-Chamarel-Bassin Blanc-Vacoa-Flic En Flac-Tamarin
86.27 km | 1,295 m D+
A good mix of coastal rides down south and mountain climbs. Two big climbs to look out for, Chamarel is more progressive but still challenging then take your breath along the coast line for a little while and back up what we believe to be the most challenging climb in Mauritius with some section at 15%! Then it is a gentle rolling and downhill ride back to Tamarin.
Road | Tamarin-Bel Ombre-Bassin Blanc-Surinam-Tamarin
114.94 km | 1,265 m D+
Ride along the South West coast and around the Le Morne Peninsula, ride along the beach on a sand road section and back on the tarmac after that. Smooth ride through Bel Ombre, enjoy the South of Mauritius before hitting Bassin Blanc, what we believe to be the steepest climb on the Island. Then it is a complete change of scenery up on the central plateau, go pass the Grand Bassin, a sacred place for the Hindu Community, through the tea fields and back on the coast line all the way back to Tamarin.
